It’s been five years since my last post—but I’m back, and better than ever! My absence wasn’t because I stopped caring about this amazing community. Unfortunately, it was due to someone else’s actions. Ironically, the person who originally helped me create this blog ended up hacking it and erasing every single post I’d written. All of my trials, tribulations, tears, and raw thoughts during and after chemo…gone.
Imagine losing everything you poured your heart into during one of the hardest times of your life. It was devastating. But after over a year of painstaking effort, I’ve managed to recover and manually re-enter all my posts. Lymphoma Barbie is officially back!
What did I learn from all of this? People can be cruel, but their actions often have nothing to do with us. Hurt people hurt people. I truly hope this person finds healing, and I send them love and light.
Now, let’s catch up! What have I been up to post-chemo? So much:
• I underwent egg freezing post-chemo (yes, it’s possible—I’ll write a post about that soon).
• I had a HUGE relapse scare earlier this year (spoiler alert: I’ll share more on that, too).
• And Chemo Kits? It had its most successful year yet!
I’m just here to say hi, let you know I’m back, and send all my love. I hope sharing my story helps you navigate your own journey.
With love always,
Jessi
